BioLife Plasma Services in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results. The role supports the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure medical safety in a high-volume plasma collection center.

Required licensure/certification (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, RN), CPR/AED, and clinical experience; training aligns with BioLife procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold state licensure/certification as EMT-B / EMT-A / EMT-I / EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN.
• Clinical setting experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus relevant healthcare training.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, history interview, physical examination, and lab review.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs where applicable.
