Concentra in Phoenix is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our patient care team. You will perform routine medical procedures under supervision, support registration and referral management, and help ensure a fast, friendly patient experience.

The role requires strong clinical competency, HIPAA compliance, and excellent communication. Training is provided to maintain our high standards of care and efficiency in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent direct patient care experience.
• Experience with DOT/Non-DOT testing and occupational medicine preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Handle front office tasks: greet patients, check in/out, answer calls and documentation.
