Concentra in Georgetown, KY is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to deliver routine medical testing and patient care under clinician supervision. The role includes front desk duties, registration, and referral management to ensure a seamless patient experience.

You will perform DOT and non-DOT tests, assist clinicians, prepare patients for exams, and maintain equipment and documentation in a fast-paced center. Ongoing training and compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical/Business School as minimum.
• Graduate of accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred or 1 year direct patient care in MA role.
• Must meet state requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Triage and manage routine procedures and emergencies.
• Assist with procedure setup and injury care.
• Greet patients, manage front desk tasks, and maintain records.
