Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to conduct DOT and non-DOT testing, prepare patients for examinations, and assist clinicians in a fast-paced center in Saint Paul, MN. You will also perform front and back office duties while ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient care quality.

The role requires prior medical assistant training or direct patient care experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with center staff to maintain efficient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, OR at least one year of direct patient care as a medical assistant.
• Military medical specialist experience must meet state credentials and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Triage emergent patients and manage routine medical procedures as ordered.
