Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review labs, and manage donor safety in a fast-paced plasma center environment. The role reports to the Center Manager and collaborates with Medical Affairs on medical issues, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Requirements include an EMT-B/A/I/P license or RN/LPN/LVN, CPR/AED certification, and 2+ years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including a nursing program graduate.
• Current EMT license(s) in state of responsibility (EMT-B/A/I/P) or RN/LPN/LVN.
• CPR and AED certification current.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, medical history, and donor acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Support vaccination programs and incident reporting per EHS guidance.
