• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Current BLS-C (Basic Life Support - Certification) certification upon hire, or successful completion by the end of orientation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of related experience in a medical, clinical, or healthcare support setting
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills for electronic health record (EHR) systems and administrative software
• Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
• Experience with medical terminology and basic anatomy
