Under direct supervision of the provider and/or nursing leadership, the Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks essential to delivering quality and compassionate patient care.
The Medical Assistant will begin each patient interaction by greeting and escorting patients to the exam room, where they will obtain comprehensive medical histories and establish a welcoming environment. Throughout the patient visit, the Medical Assistant will measure and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation for clinical review. In preparation for examinations and procedures, the Medical Assistant will ready patients by explaining next steps and positioning them appropriately. During provider interactions, the Medical Assistant will provide clinical support by assisting the provider throughout examinations and procedures, facilitating a seamless and efficient patient experience.
