Bon Secours in Virginia Beach seeks a Supply Chain Inventory Specialist to manage specialized medical supply par locations, inventories, and implants, ensuring accurate utilization analysis and timely replenishment. You will design and adjust par locations, support recalls, and mentor associates within the department.

The role requires 1 year in inventory management or supply chain and Lean/5S experience, with potential for professional development and closer collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in inventory management or supply chain function (required)
• 2 years in medical Supply Chain operations (preferred)
• Lean, 5S, Continuous Improvement experience (required)

Responsibilities

• Manages medical supply par locations, inventories, and implants; creates/adjusts par locations per utilization analysis
• Manages inventory program including turns, excess, stock rotation, and expiration control
• Manages consignment inventory programs and compliance documentation
• Submits purchase and bill-only requisitions per cost and contract policies
• Tracks PO status and resolves perpetual inventory issues
• Manages backorders and stock-out requests; communicates impact to leaders
• Arranges urgent expediting for patient care
• Reconciles shipping errors and incorrect shipments
• Investigates recalls, pulls affected items, maintains recall records
• Leads or participates in CI initiatives in Supply Chain
• Onboards and mentors staff; trains non-Supply Chain associates on ERP and related processes
