Under the direction of Harbor Light’s Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, and Executive Administration, the Medical Supervisor supports medical services across all Harbor Light locations. This role provides direct supervision and support to Medical Team Leads and Paramedics while working collaboratively with LPNs and Administration to promote consistent, high-quality, and compliant client care.
Responsibilities include supervising and supporting Medical Team Leads, conducting chart audits, staff trainings, monitoring compliance with licensing, accreditation, and HIPAA requirements, and assisting with staff development. The Medical Supervisor promotes evidence-based, trauma-informed practices and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented environment in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
The Medical Supervisor contributes to the effective operation of Harbor Light’s medical programs by supporting clinical coordination, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts. Through collaboration with site leadership, medical providers, and executive leadership, this role helps strengthen continuity of care, promote best practices, and support positive outcomes for clients receiving services.
