Job summary

University of North Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Student Success Coordinator to support the Office of Medical & Student Success through program development, leadership development, and student engagement initiatives.

You will collaborate with students, faculty, and campus partners to enhance the medical student experience, assist with advising initiatives, and coordinate co-curricular activities and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Strong facilitation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor and support student leaders.
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze program data and assessment results to support improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Advisory Colleges Program.
• Serve as the staff liaison for six Advisory Colleges and their faculty advisors.
• Foster engagement, mentorship, wellness, professionalism, and identity formation.
• Develop initiatives that strengthen community and student belonging within the program.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to improve outcomes.
• Lead the Advisory Colleges Council as primary advisor and develop leadership curriculum.
• Plan and support leadership retreats, workshops, and events.
• Collaborate with OMSS staff and academic partners to support student success.
