Job summary

UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking a Student Success Coordinator to support the Office of Medical & Student Success. This role develops and coordinates leadership curricula, engages students, and collaborates with faculty advisors, academic leadership, and campus partners to enhance the medical student experience and promote success.

The position oversees the Advisory Colleges Program and Council, building longitudinal leadership initiatives while aiding with advising and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational or co-curricular programs.
• Strong facilitation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor and support student leaders and coordinate multiple projects.
• Commitment to inclusive learning environments and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Advisory Colleges Program.
• Serve as staff liaison for the six Advisory Colleges and faculty advisors.
• Foster engagement, mentorship, wellness, professionalism, and professional identity formation.
• Develop initiatives to strengthen community and student belonging within Advisory Colleges.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements for engagement and outcomes.
• Lead ACC meetings and leadership development sessions; plan retreats and events.
• Assist with academic advising initiatives and student outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with OMSS staff, advisors, and student affairs professionals.
