Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage the complete credentialing and privileging process for new medical staff and allied health applicants. The role supports high-quality patient care across Cooper University Health Care facilities.

The position requires collaboration with the Director Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission standards, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical staff services with duties that involved medical staff and allied health credentialing.
• Managed care or other healthcare environment preferred.
• Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Word/Excel; data entry accuracy is critical.
• Excellent/professional communication skills.
• Strong time management, customer service, organization and analytical skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle entire initial credentialing and privileging process and reappointment for new medical staff and allied health applicants.
• Collaborate with the Director Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with bylaws, standards, and regulatory requirements.
