Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage licenses, certifications, expirations, and renewals within the medical staff credentialing system. The role requires coordinating with medical staff and leadership to ensure compliance and timely credentialing.

Responsibilities include monitoring alerts, exporting credentialing data, and helping collect documentation. A High School Diploma is required; an associate degree in healthcare or related field is preferred, with healthcare

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate degree preferred for advancement.
• Healthcare credentialing experience or knowledge preferred.
• NAMSS certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage licenses, board certifications, expirations, and renewals in the credentialing software.
• Monitor system alerts, import data from web sources, and follow up with providers on expirations.
• Generate and maintain data exports from credentialing software.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and maintaining required credentialing documentation.
