The role supports credentialing and privileging for medical staff, APPs, and allied health professionals, adhering to Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS, and state/federal standards. You will maintain the credentialing database, collect required documentation, and assist with education for privileges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a medical staff services or credentialing role.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates medical staff services for MercyOne hospitals and affiliates.
• Ensures credentialing and privileging compliance with regulations (bylaws, Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS).
• Maintains the credentialing database with provider information.
• Collects privileging documentation and facilitates education for privileges.
