Job summary

Trinity Health Corp. is seeking a Medical Staff Liaison to support credentialing, privileging and onboarding for practitioners across Trinity Health Michigan hospitals.

You will work to ensure a provider-centric experience and high-quality patient care through compliant processes and data integrity. The role emphasizes collaboration with medical staff leaders, hospital administration and external regulators to meet regulatory standards and target timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or similar degree OR equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of healthcare environment or healthcare administrative/office experience and general knowledge of the health care industry including hospital settings and physician practices with a working knowledge of federal, state and TJC accreditation standards and general medical terminology.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Preferred: Medical staff services, hospital credentialing and privileging, and peer review experience; certifications CPMSM or CPCS.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary point of contact for assigned specialties to ensure provider and stakeholder satisfaction across multiple hospitals.
• Ensures coordination and alignment of medical staff services processes and procedures across the region.
• Assists providers and stakeholders in navigating organizational requirements and facilitating effective communication.
• Maintains a customer-focused attitude and builds cooperative relationships, resolving issues promptly.
