Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support Medical Staff Services by coordinating credentialing, board reporting, and compliance with CMS and Joint Commission standards. The role involves interdepartmental collaboration, processing credentialing activities, and maintaining documentation accuracy.

The candidate should have credentialing experience, strong MS Office skills, and attention to detail to ensure seamless hospital operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Medical Staff Services and credentialing experience required.
• Microsoft Office experience required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS, OK State Health Department and Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Medical Staff review and approval for initial and reappointment applications; develop Medical Staff Board Report to the Board of Trustees.
• Research and develop department documents; maintain current knowledge of CMS, OK State Health Department and Joint Commission standards.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to create agendas, record minutes, obtain and analyze clinical activity reports, and coordinate projects with hospital leadership.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
