Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the medical staff database and ensure regulatory compliance across the CommonSpirit Health system.
• Coordinate the full lifecycle of credentialing and re-credentialing, including initial appointments, reappointments, and management of clinical privileges for Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• Conduct thorough background investigations and primary source verifications to ensure eligibility of practitioner applications.
• Manage credentialing database, generate reports and queries to track expirables and application progress.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve credentialing issues, and prepare comprehensive files for review; interface with internal stakeholders and external health organizations to support audits.
