Palmetto General Hospital is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to credential physicians, dentists, podiatrists and allied staff, while maintaining positive relationships with Professional Services Staff. The role directs administrative support and ensures resources are available to meet duties and obligations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and strong computer skills.

Formación

• Eligibility for certification as a Medical Staff Professional.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Medical Staff Coordinator preferred.
• Good knowledge of computers.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Medical Terminology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and coordinate administrative support for Professional Services Staff.
• Maintain positive relationships with all Professional Services Staff and hospital personnel.
• Ensure courteous, helpful communication with patients and the public.
• Answer inquiries in a prompt, friendly manner and explain procedures as needed.
• Identify problem areas and collaborate on solutions with customers.
