Job summary

Getinge in San Jose, CA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair of complex medical equipment at customer sites within a defined territory. You will troubleshoot, service, and calibrate systems following manufacturer instructions and safety standards.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent, 3+ years of field service experience, and ability to work independently. Competitive hourly pay, benefits, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• 3+ years field-based technical service experience.
• Experience with maintenance/repair of mechanical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair and technical support.
• Perform preventative maintenance per procedures and use proper tools.
• Assist sales with marketing Getinge equipment and leads.
• Maintain service contracts through high quality work and customer service.
• Comply with health and safety codes and Getinge policies.
• Prepare and submit required reports within deadlines.
• Meet KPI targets and manage expenses and inventory.
