Job summary

MSTC in Camp Humphreys, South Korea, seeks an experienced medical educator to lead EMT and Tactical Casualty Combat Care simulations, including field training and live training devices. The role involves didactic and hands-on instruction for medical evacuation and related subjects.

Applicants must have a degree or equivalent, EMT/NREMT certification, and instructor experience, with ability to obtain an active US security clearance and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience or 11 years of experience
• Associate's degree plus 7 years of experience or 11 years of experience
• Major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience or 11 years of experience
• Willingness to obtain/maintain US security clearance and travel as required

Responsibilities

• Serve as a medical educator for MSTC with didactic and psychomotor instruction.
• Plan and conduct field training exercises using life-like scenarios and effects.
• Operate and maintain human patient simulators and training equipment.
• Develop/revise simulation exercises and assess student performance.
• Review lesson plans and evaluate course progress through tests and critiques
• Develop online and on-site training curriculums and ensure proficiency of instructors
• Teach short technical courses and incorporate new curriculum into teaching
• Maintain professionalism and high standards in classroom techniques
• Develop alternative teaching scenarios to sustain motivation and learning
