Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site Medical Scribes to work alongside physicians and document patient visits in real time. You will record medical history, exams, results, and prescriptions, enabling doctors to focus on patient care.

No experience is required—-training through Scribe University provides hands-on clinical instruction, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Multiple shifts available, with full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits with doctors in real time.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure records.
• Keep charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
