Job summary

TRANSITIONAL CARE ORGANIZATION LLC is seeking a Medical Scribe to assist clinicians with documenting patient histories, symptoms, and treatment plans. You will accompany physicians during examinations and transcribe data into electronic health records (EHR) in real time.

You will ensure accurate, timely documentation of encounters, input patient orders daily, and collaborate with the care team while upholding HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is required.
• Proficient typing skills and ability to accurately transcribe information in real-time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in documenting patient medical records, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
• Accompany physicians during patient examinations and transcribe relevant information into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
• Ensure all patient orders and consults are inputted daily.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate efficient patient care.
• Build positive relationships within the hospital.
