Job summary

ScribeAmerica is hiring Medical Scribes to support doctors in outpatient clinics and emergency departments across the United States. You will document patient visits in real time, record histories, exams, and treatments, and use EHR systems to keep records accurate and secure.

No experience is required—training is provided through Scribe University, with both full-time and part-time roles and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and strong listening skills.
• Fluent in English with good communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
