Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking a diligent Medical Scribe to work on-site with physicians, documenting patient visits in real time and recording history, exams, tests, and treatments. You’ll support clinicians by maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring HIPAA compliance while you learn through our training programs.

Positions available full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling and paid training through Scribe University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure records.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
