HealthChannels, LLC is seeking Medical Scribes to work alongside doctors in emergency settings in Yakima, WA. You will document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams, treatments, and tests using EHR systems, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and chart accuracy.

No experience required; paid training through Scribe University and hands-on clinical instruction prepare you for real-life exposure, mentorship, and ongoing career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English with strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, sit and use a computer for several hours.
• Access to a laptop for training and work.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
