Job summary

ScribeAmerica in Eureka, WA is seeking on-site Medical Scribes to assist doctors during patient visits by documenting history, exams, and treatments in real time. You’ll ensure accurate records and HIPAA compliance while supporting the care team.

No prior experience is required; we offer paid training through Scribe University, with both full-time and part-time options and pathways for career growth through tuition savings programs.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM or faster.
• Strong listening and communication skills for effective documentation.
• Flexible schedule availability to accommodate shifts.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits with doctors in real time.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
