Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months experience as a Medical Scribe or equivalent training/education.

Responsibilities

• Document physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician.
• Document laboratory and radiographic study results as dictated by the physician.
• Document the correct time of patient care related activities and communications.
• List diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
• Transcribe patient orders including laboratory results, radiology tests, medications, etc.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures and assist with other duties as assigned.
