HealthChannels, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support physicians in documenting patient visits using EHR systems. No experience required; training is provided through our Scribe University.

Roles are on-site in various clinical settings, with both full-time and part-time options and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include recording patient history, exams, treatments, lab results, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for extended periods.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training; may need own during training).

Responsabilités

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
