Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking Part Time Medical Scribes to join outpatient teams in Georgia. You will document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams, results, and treatments while ensuring chart accuracy and security.

No prior experience required; paid training via Scribe University and hands-on clinical instruction are provided. Full-time and part-time roles exist, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training; may need for training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow‑ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
