Job summary

ScribeAmerica in Duluth, GA is seeking part-time Medical Scribes to join our team. You’ll work with doctors during patient visits to document histories, exams and treatments, using electronic health record (EHR) systems, and keep charts accurate and up to date.

No experience is required—paid training through Scribe University, hands-on clinical instruction, and mentorship help you grow. Both full-time and part-time roles are available; must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (18+).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training).

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
