Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking candidates for medical scribe roles in the United States. You will accompany physicians during patient visits to document histories, exams, treatments, and prescriptions, while ensuring accurate records.

Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist, with full-time and part-time schedules. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date patient charts, handling lab results, and following HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
