Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site Medical Scribes to work closely with physicians and document patient visits in real time. You will record patient histories, exams, and treatments, while using electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensuring accurate, up-to-date charts.

No prior experience is required as we provide paid training through Scribe University and hands-on clinical instruction. Full‑time and part‑time options are available, with opportunities for growth and tuition discounts.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with physicians.
• Record patient history, exams and treatments.
• Use EHR systems to document encounters.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure records.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for physician review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow‑ups.
• Assist in keeping the clinic running smoothly.
