Job summary

ScribeAmerica invites compassionate individuals to join our on-site medical scribe program. You will accompany doctors during patient visits, documenting histories, exams, and treatments while using electronic health records. This role offers real clinical exposure, mentorship, and the chance to shadow physicians.

We provide paid training through Scribe University and opportunities for career growth. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling and tuition assistance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations may be required.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training but you may need your own for training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
