Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking a Medical Scribe in the United States to document patient visits in real time and support physicians with charting. You will record patient history, exams, and treatments and use electronic health record systems to keep records accurate.

No prior experience is required; we offer paid training through Scribe University and hands-on clinical instruction. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM and strong listening skills.
• Fluent in English with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
