Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking dedicated Medical Scribes to work alongside physicians, documenting patient visits in real time. You will record history, exams, test results, and prescriptions, helping doctors focus on patient care.

This on-site role offers flexible full- or part-time schedules and paid training through Scribe University. No prior experience required—training is provided to launch your healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
