Job summary

ScribeAmerica in the United States (Pennsylvania) is seeking motivated Medical Scribes to work alongside doctors, recording patient history, exams, and treatments using EHR systems. No experience required; full-time and part-time options available and paid training through Scribe University.

You’ll ensure HIPAA compliance, keep patient charts up to date, and support the clinic with lab tracking and follow-ups across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to undergo background checks and vaccinations if required.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow‑ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
