Job summary

ScribeAmerica is hiring on-site medical scribes to document patient visits in real time, supporting doctors with history, exams, and treatments. Full-time and part-time shifts are available across locations, with paid training through Scribe University and tuition-discount programs.

You will work with the healthcare team, use EHR systems, and learn HIPAA compliance while gaining clinical exposure. No experience required; training begins at onboarding and there are advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations may be required.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Own laptop for training (provided later).

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant records.
• Keep patient charts up to date and organized.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the health team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
