Responsibilities

• Greet callers warmly and serve as the first point of contact for patients.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and manage phone systems (e.g., RingCentral).
• Perform front desk duties, including cross-training and maintaining punctual, reliable coverage.
• Process incoming referrals and proactively contact patients to schedule appointments.
• Schedule consults and procedures while accurately collecting and updating demographic and insurance information.
• Confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments as needed.
• Use EMR systems and the Patient Tracker to align provider availability with patient needs.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out, including insurance verification, referrals, and collections.
• Discuss insurance benefits with patients and coordinate with the billing team as needed.
• Prepare and maintain required reports (e.g., sedation reports).
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and external offices regarding scheduling and patient needs.
• Address patient concerns professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
