Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Scheduler to join Texas Urology Specialists in Arlington and Fort Worth Clearfork locations. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Under supervision, you will schedule patient appointments and tests, serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff, coordinate authorizations, and support front-office operations to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years' experience preferably in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and/or authorization experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules new patients, referrals, and returning patients; updates records.
• Obtains and enters insurance authorizations and referrals in EMR.
• Collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket amounts at visit time.
• Maintains scheduling templates for physician meetings and satellite schedules.
• Assists with financial counseling and front office duties as needed.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and adheres to clinic policies.
• Prepares correspondence and forms as requested by supervisor.
• May schedule outpatient tests, surgeries, or hospital admissions as needed.
