Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Scheduler who plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate appointment scheduling across multiple modalities including PT/OT, radiology, infusion, and more. The role involves handling phone, fax, and EMR-driven orders, verifying insurance, and pre-registering patients to support smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate degree in medical office administration and experience in hospital

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Office Administration preferred.
• Experience in hospital or medical scheduling preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of scheduling for multiple modalities.
• Schedule appointments from providers by calls, faxes and EMR.
• Verify insurance, pre-register patients.
• Handle all clerical functions and maintain office records.
• Prepare patient charts and schedule procedures.
