Job summary

Total Rehab / Total Rehab Kids is seeking a Medical Receptionist to manage scheduling for multiple departments, coordinate appointments, and direct patients within a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience with scheduling software, and be comfortable handling insurance verifications and telephone duties; bilingual applicants are preferred, and reliability is essential. Knowledge of EMR scheduling applications is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in scheduling or administrative role with strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain scheduling for multiple departments, ensuring appointments and meetings are recorded.
• Communicate with team members and external partners to confirm availability and coordinate schedules.
• Utilize scheduling software to optimize appointment times and minimize conflicts, adjusting as priorities change.
• Monitor and evaluate scheduling processes, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Direct patients and visitors.
• Completing insurance verifications and/or authorizations.
• Telephone duties.
