Job summary

RadNet in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Medical Scheduler to join our operations team. The role involves scheduling procedures, handling calls from patients and providers, and entering data in the RIS system to ensure accurate appointments and pre-visit preparation.

You will pre-register patients, verify information, and support on-site daily operations while upholding privacy and security of patient data.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma and/or 1 year of medical/radiology office work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to foster teamwork and handle fast-paced scheduling scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Properly schedule all procedures and answer incoming calls courteously and professionally.
• Place calls to referring physicians for scheduling-related issues.
• Enter accurate information in RIS for scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and comment entry.
• Update account information at the point of scheduling.
• Utilize RIS filter screens to answer questions about insurance, procedures and preps.
• Pre-register, scan documents, input clinical data as needed for appointment requests.
• Safeguard patient information and facility belongings according to policy.
• Interact respectfully with patients, families, and staff in a clinical setting.
