Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of scheduling in a multi-specialty clinic preferred.
• Experience interacting with patients of all ages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule follow-up/return visits for patients.
• Obtain pre-certification and pre-authorization as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures and communicate instructions to patients.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and provide follow-up instructions.
• Utilize Allscripts, Centricity Business, and online paging systems.
• Access information from other hospital systems as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
