Job summary

The Women's Imaging Center, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-time Medical Scheduler in Denver/Cherry Creek to join our team. You will schedule MRIs, mammograms, ultrasounds, and other imaging appointments while ensuring patient information is accurate in the EHR and referring orders are followed.

We value excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and professional phone manners.
• Experience with electronic health record systems such as Athena or Epic.
• Ability to enter and verify patient data accurately in the EHR.
• Comfort with radiology terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for MRIs, mammograms, ultrasounds, and DEXA scans.
• Process referrals/orders and manage incoming faxes as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and maintain calendars.
• Check voicemail, return messages, answer and transfer calls.
• Create and forward messages/tasks; sort incoming faxes.
• Ensure accurate patient information in the EHR system.

Job description

The Women's Imaging Center, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking to add a full-time Medical Scheduler to our team in Denver/Cherry Creek!

The Medical Scheduler embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. This role ensures each patients' encounter is professional, warm, and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs while ensuring we are also meeting the referring physician's orders.

Schedule Monday-Friday

• Scheduling appointments ranging from Breast and Body MRIs, Screening Mammograms, Breast Ultrasounds, DEXAs, etc
• Attend incoming referrals/orders and/or fax as needed (mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, etc.)
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Check voicemail and return messages
• Answer and transfer calls
• Create and forward messages/tasks
• Sort and distribute incoming faxes
• Maintain portal requests (appointments & messages)
• Ensures that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is accurately entered into the EHR system
• Basic knowledge of radiology terminology is necessary (preference given to women’s radiology or women’s health)
• Excellent communication skills, and phone etiquette
• Professionalism
• Must have experience with some EHR system like Athena or Epic (Athena experience preferred)
• Computer/Tech and EHR savvy required
• Ability to maintain attention and accuracy and multitask in a busy environment
• Accurate and fast typing skills
• Effective listening skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
