Job summary

Together Women's Health is seeking a full-time Medical Scheduler in the Denver area to join The Women’s Imaging Center team. The role focuses on scheduling breast imaging, mammograms, MRIs, ultrasounds, and DEXAs while ensuring referrals and orders are processed accurately in the EHR.

The ideal candidate communicates well, is detail-oriented, and proficient with EHR systems such as Athena or Epic. A reliable schedule and strong attendance are essential in this busy practice.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of radiology terminology; women's imaging preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Experience with EHR systems (Athena or Epic) and strong computer skills.
• Accurate, fast typing, and high attention to detail in a busy setting.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule MRI, mammography, ultrasound, and DEXA appointments.
• Handle referrals/orders and faxes; schedule follow-ups.
• Check voicemail, return messages, and transfer calls.
• Create/forward messages and sort incoming faxes.
• Enter patient data accurately into the EHR system.

Overview

The Women's Imaging Center, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking to add a full-time Medical Scheduler to our team in Denver/Cherry Creek!

The Medical Scheduler embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. This role ensures each patients' encounter is professional, warm, and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs while ensuring we are also meeting the referring physician's orders.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments ranging from Breast and Body MRIs, Screening Mammograms, Breast Ultrasounds, DEXAs, etc
• Attend incoming referrals/orders and/or fax as needed (mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, etc.)
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Check voicemail and return messages
• Answer and transfer calls
• Create and forward messages/tasks
• Sort and distribute incoming faxes
• Maintain portal requests (appointments & messages)
• Ensures that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is accurately entered into the EHR system

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of radiology terminology is necessary (preference given to women’s radiology or women’s health)
• Excellent communication skills, and phone etiquette
• Professionalism
• Must have experience with some EHR system like Athena or Epic (Athena experience preferred)
• Computer/Tech and EHR savvy required
• Ability to maintain attention and accuracy and multitask in a busy environment
• Accurate and fast typing skills
• Effective listening skills
• Detail oriented

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
