Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations and provide patient-centered care across all age groups. You will operate under the supervision of a Radiologist and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds AMA/JRCERT accredited training, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with preference given to those with 6 months radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified.
• PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under supervision, ensuring adherence to prescribed standards.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric ages.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
