Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist and to provide patient care across age groups. You will follow safety protocols and ensure high-quality imaging.

Graduates of AMA/JRCERT programs with ARRT certification and BLS are encouraged to apply; 6 months of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training.
• ARRT certification required.
• Registration by ARRT required.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: 6 months of radiologic technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under Radiologist supervision.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Education

AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

BLS certified

6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist (preferred)

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
