Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide patient care across all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, ensuring safety and accuracy of imaging procedures.

Qualified candidates will have AMA/JRCERT accredited training, ARRT certification, ARRT registration, and a BLS certification. Preference given to those with 6 months of radiologic technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified.
• PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
