Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under Radiologist supervision and provide comprehensive patient care across all patient ages. Role emphasizes safety and accuracy in imaging and collaboration with a radiology team.

Candidate should hold an AMA/JRCERT approved radiologic technology education, with ARRT and BCLS certifications upon hire; 6 months preferred experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training program.
• 6 months experience as Radiological Technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification and Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
