Qualifications

• Post-employment certification must be obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: assign and review tasks to ensure timely, accurate work.
• Record system management: oversee health record system and coding standards.
• Record handling: file, issue, and transfer records per confidentiality and legal guidelines.
• Quality review: check records for completeness and accuracy; refer issues.
• Statistical reporting: prepare morbidity, mortality and service utilization reports.
• Quality assurance participation: join the Medical Department QA committee to identify improvements.
